REGENERATIVE FASHION

As the fashion industry continues to develop and evolve, new and innovative ideas are being put to use in order to make it more sustainable and responsible. One such idea is the concept of regenerative fashion.

Regenerative fashion is a movement that focuses on creating clothing that is not only sustainable but also regenerative. Rather than just focusing on reducing the environmental impact of clothing, regenerative fashion strives to make the fashion industry more sustainable by creating clothing from materials that are easily replenished and recycled.

It also encourages the use of more natural and biodegradable materials; natural dyes and fabrics that are made without the use of toxic chemicals; sustainable production practices that reduce water, energy, and waste.

The benefits of regenerative fashion are numerous. Not only does it reduce the environmental impact of the fashion industry, but it also helps create jobs in the industry, as well as providing an economic boost to local communities.

This means that the fashion industry can become more sustainable and ethical, while still producing fashion that is stylish and fashionable.

I was so proud to be part of Jenessa Leoné ’s Earth Day campaign, featuring their collection created with regenerative material. JL is one of my favorite brands not only because I love their designs, but especially for what they stand for, and for their mission — by 2030, 80% of Jenessa Leoné products will be created with regenerative materials and the brand as a whole will have end-to-end net carbon offeset.

The handbag featured here is Jenessa Leoné, from their regenerative materials collection. I love the design and the versatility, as it can be styled both with casual day-outfits, and more more elevated evening looks.

Hey This is Sara! Enthusiast brand, content and website creator. After 10 years of career, in corporate and across Europe and The Middle East, I started chasing freedom (of movement and expression) and I took a leap, shifting to a career as freelance. My best decision, especially now that I'm a new mom :)

Currently based in Atlanta but close to move to Boston.

Besides designing websites, my core is brand identity and content strategy, and I do quite well with photography too. I especially enjoy post-production - take a look!
